The second edition of Manotsava – National Mental Health Festival was held on November 8th and 9th, 2025, at The Lalit Ashok, Bengaluru. The festival served as a vibrant national platform for public engagement, bringing mental health research, practice, technology, and lived experiences together under one roof. Through interactive workshops, expert-led discussions, art-based sessions, and community conversations, Manotsava highlighted mental health in the context of science, society, and everyday life.
NIMHANS - ICMR Centre for Advanced Research & Positive Psychology Unit Participation
The ICMR–Centre for Advanced Research (Digital Interventions for Mental Health Care) and the Positive Psychology Unit, NIMHANS, jointly hosted a dedicated public engagement and display stall at the festival.
The stall showcased the Centres’ ongoing projects, research initiatives, and free digital mental health platforms developed through ICMR and Microsoft-supported efforts.

Engagement & Impact
The stall drew active participation from students, parents, educators, health professionals, NGO representatives, and community members. Visitors engaged in meaningful conversations with the team, explored accessible digital resources, and learned how evidence-based digital interventions can complement traditional care and promote early help-seeking and prevention.
The enthusiastic response reaffirmed the growing public interest in digital mental health tools and the importance of user-friendly, scalable interventions.
