Digital Phenotyping to Predict Treatment and Follow-up Outcomes Using the MindLAMP App for Schizophrenia

Key Study Objectives

  • To explore how digital phenotyping can be used to predict treatment response and follow-up outcomes in individuals with schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders.
  • To analyse how patient-generated health data (PGHD) collected via smartphones can inform symptom monitoring, functioning, and recovery trajectories.

Study Design

The study follows an observational longitudinal design, involving clinical, cognitive, and functioning assessments conducted over a six-month period. Participants will use the MindLAMP application on their mobile phones during this time, allowing for continuous collection of digital behavioural data alongside periodic in-person assessments to examine changes and patterns in clinical, cognitive and functional outcomes over time.

Target Group

Individuals in the age range of 18-60, diagnosed with Schizophrenia spectrum and other Psychotic disorders in the past ten years, and stable on medication.

Current Status

Participant recruitment ongoing.
